ABOUT YOU:

As a mobile developer, you thrive in dynamic environments and excel at managing complexity through clean design patterns. You’re adept at targeting multiple platforms, designing code that accounts for their unique characteristics. You’re passionate about UI/UX design and enjoy educating others on creating mobile-friendly experiences. You prioritize customer satisfaction, team collaboration, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in Agile development practices, with experience in small teams utilizing modern DevOps.
  • Experience or strong interest in cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin.
  • Experience with macOS development environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Esri technology and mapping solutions would be an asset.
  • Experience with SQL and database technologies is beneficial.
  • Experience targeting Android, Windows, and IOS platforms for deployment.
  • Familiarity with using peripheral sensors (GPS, Camera, Bluetooth, Motion) and integrating their data is advantageous.
  • Able to manage a workload that may touch on a few different applications any given week.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently research and implement solutions to complex challenges.

  • Collaborate as a core team member to scope, plan, and execute mobile application development projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and team members to iterate on solutions and deliver continuous value to our clients.
  • Engage in hands-on collaboration at our Ottawa office to test and refine hardware/software interactions.
  • Enhance the application delivery process by automating workflows and writing testable code.
  • Contribute to solving new and complex problems, often involving spatiotemporal components.
  • Participate in product testing and peer reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Commit to personal and professional development by setting and achieving ambitious goals.
