As we expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Mobile Electric Vehicle Technician to join our team, serving North London, Hertford, Bucks and more.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technician to service, maintain, and repair electric vehicles. As a Mobile EV Technician, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by providing convenient, on-site solutions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with work performed only in suitable off-street locations (no roadside work).
  • Offstreet parking at home with the ability to install an EV charger (paid for by Cleevely Mobile)

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • IMI Level 2 or 3 in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience in a mobile technician role.
  • Strong IT literacy for using diagnostic tools and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of electric vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform battery health checks and other EV-specific diagnostics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining services performed and answering any queries.
  • Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels in your mobile workshop van.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of customers and yourself.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
