POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for mobile development who is smart, passionate, and proactive self-starter who continually seeks to learn and develop their professional skill set. You will be a brilliant technologist with excellent problem-solving skills.
Be part of the foundation team which embarks on a bold new venture to expand its digital team. The Digital Mobile Engineering team is responsible for the technology that is the powerhouse for the award-winning Mobile Apps. The team collectively builds mobile apps (iOS, Android) for both external and internal customers.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

§ Develop robust and secure mobile native applications for iOS and Android with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin and Java
§ Work with Agile methodology using tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
§ Experience integrating RESTful API’s using .NET, Java or NodeJS with iOS and Android applications
§ Experience using Redux in Swift and Kotlin
§ End-to-end experience that extends beyond front end mobile to the back end is a plus
§ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and exposure to testing automation

• Develop software systems and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Produce technical documentation
• Agile development, continuous integration and deployment, and automated testing
• Collaborate with team members in a cross-functional team to deliver world-class and high-quality products on the software applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications throughout lifecycle and provide technical input to the planning of future applications
• Write clean code build applications in line with the best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers
• Contribute and be an advocate to the wider development and engineering community through participation in development guilds for knowledge sharing and learning
• Provide consultancy, architecture and development skills in the software engineering space
• Provide IT consulting and advise clients on industry best practices with respect to information system architecture, information governance, policy management
• Identify potential risks and provide mitigants
• Clarify scope and direction of work to ensure project governance and execution
• Support the development and integration testing of enterprise information systems
  Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000
