Directorate - Finance & Customer Services
10 hours per week, part-time, permanent, term-time
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated catering staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to cover for colleagues on ill health, vacant posts or other absence. This is a permanent post guaranteed of working 10 hours per week, term time only (45.8 weeks), in Rotherham. (Additional hours may be available dependant on the school.)
The length of time the cover is required in any one kitchen, may vary from 1 day up to several months.
We provide school catering for over 70 schools in the borough and we require Mobile staff in most areas of Rotherham such as Aston, WIngfield, Wath etc.
You will be required to assist in:
The preparation, cooking and service of meals. Ensuring that all hygiene standards are maintained and that food rooms and associated areas are cleaned to a required standard.
Possession of a Food Safety Certificate Level 2 is desirable or willingness to undertake available training to attain certificate.
A uniform will be provided.
Access to a car is preferred but not essential.
