MOBILE HGV TECHNICIAN
Location: Covering Colchester and surrounding areas
Salary: £46,800
Shift: Monday to Friday Days
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate
Van, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone, Paid door to door
ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client, a Fleet Maintainer with are actively seeking to employ a skilled and experienced HGV Technician.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
- Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities:
As part of a team of experienced HGV Technicians, you will work on a variety of commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting vehicle inspections
- Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
- Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
- Undertaking general HGV Technician duties
