JOB DETAILS
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Team at Huntingdonshire District Council for the role of supervising the Mobile Home Park Site in St Neots.
You will have responsibility for overseeing the District Council’s responsibility to the Mobile Home Park residents by:
- delivering our statutory response against the Mobile Homes Act 2013
- act as an ambassador for the council, providing face-to-face support to residents
- working with residents to ensure the site provides a clean and safe place to live
- identifying and supporting vulnerable residents on the site
- develop and implement a process to enhance the location, which includes the consultation and support from residents’ association on the site
- oversee the finances linked to the site (rents, maintenance, enhancements, contracts).
The candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate experience in all the areas that the role is to cover as well as evidence of having managed a variety of situations that require a resident focussed approach.

Someone who understands the needs of the community and is able to think creatively, manage a budget and ensure that HDC delivers a high-quality, value-for-money service.
The Mobile Home Park Site Supervisor will be required to monitor and implement relevant legislation and ensure that the site is compliant; ensuring HDC remain a ‘fit and proper’ landlord.
It is expected that you will be competent in writing and presenting information to a variety of different audiences with the ability to make sound recommendations.
You will be required to be on-site for over 50% of the role, the ability to travel to the location is essential. The Mobile Home Park office is in St Neots and the main office is in Huntingdon.
An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. Huntingdonshire District Council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and are unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
