Description:
SUMMARY:
The mobile intake coordinator is responsible for business growth and development, along with ensuring a smooth admission transition for the patients entrusted to our care. You will be responsible for the day-to-day process of admitting residents to our facility. You will screen all admission referrals for an appropriate placement, including medical/clinical needs and insurance/financial approvals while maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, social workers, and community agencies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in long term care admissions and marketing. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, along with solid assessment abilities.
Some travel may be required. This is a great opportunity learn new markets and make relationships in multiple hospital systems!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in post acute care admissions process.
Experience with, hospital referral platforms, Point Click Care, and Microsoft Office preferred.
Knowledge of Admission process strongly preferred including prior authorizations, insurance authorizations, and admission contracts.
