Schedule: *Mon-Fri 7:00 am-3:30 pm
*Pay:$35/hr-$45/hr (pay will be determined by experience & certifications)
NFI Division:Fleet Services
NFI TECHNICIAN EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trailers
- Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
- On-site evaluation with recommended training
NFI TRAILER TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
- Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience
- Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
