MOBILE VEHICLE TECHNICIANS - WALES

BP Rolls Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets)with large fleets and LCV’s. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime.
To improve our customer support and deliver to the expanding business, we are looking to appoint additional Mobile Technicians to the Welsh territory, who will bolster our day and night shift support. The role will report to the Depot Manager of our Newport Depot.
Ideal locations would cover: Llanelli/Swansea, Narbeth/Carmarthen , Hereford/Gloucester
This is fantastic opportunity to join our rapidly growing and dynamic Home Shopping Fleet repair and maintenance division.
You will be provided with a fully fitted support BP Rolls Service vehicle to fulfil your role.

REQUIREMENTS:

You will be servicing and repairing a variety of Class 7 Light Commercial vehicles, some with refrigerated components, therefore:

  • You must be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (body/electrical/mechanical) and able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.
  • Ideally with 3 years of experience, although training in specific areas can be provided.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently & efficiently.
  • Clean driving licence, no driving convictions considered.
  • This is a customer facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed along with the ability to problem solve to seek resolution on occasion.

All of our technicians are bonussed on productivity so a proactive approach to work opportunity is essential to earn a significant OTE in excess of £60-70k.
Our Mobile Technicians Liaise closely with our in-house 24-hour operations team, as well as BP Rolls Nationally located Depots, for support and administrative elements of the role.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
