We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mobility Equipment Technician to join our team.
We are seeking a qualified Mobility Equipment Technician to support the delivery, installation, and maintenance of our specialised mobility and seating solutions. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving the quality of life for people with special needs. This role will be part time and will require flexibility. We need someone with a strong ability and enthusiasm for hands-on repairs and solving technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant technical qualification or experience in a similar role (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or mobility equipment repair).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with customers.
Full, clean driving license is required (for on-site visits).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain mobility equipment, including wheelchairs, power chairs, and seating systems.
Conduct checks and safety inspections on mobility products.
Liaise with customers,regarding service and repairs.
Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to ensure smooth equipment delivery and after-sales support.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site repairs.
Maintain detailed service records and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
Deliver products to customers and end users in accordance with individual delivery dockets provided by the Warehouse Manager.
Assist the Warehouse Manager in unboxing, checking and assembling goods that have been delivered by couriers.
Assist the Warehouse Manager in preparing wheelchairs for delivery by the sales team.
Assist the Warehouse Manager to fit accessories to wheelchairs and make adaptations as required.
