An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Modality Sales Specialist – General Imaging, Cardiovascular Ultrasound and POCUS to join our high performing Ultrasound team. As the Ultrasound Strategy, Commercials, and Operations Modality Sales Specialist, you are responsible for driving the strategic direction, commercial success, and operational efficiency of the ultrasound business. This role involves developing strategies to enhance market position, overseeing commercial activities to drive revenue growth, and optimizing operations to ensure high-quality delivery of products and services.
Reporting to the Business Manager Ultrasound, Idealyou will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Your role:

  • Work with the Business Manager Ultrasound to develop the overall business strategy for the ultrasound business in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Formulate long-term strategic plans and short-term action plans to achieve business targets.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated across all departments.
  • Oversee the Ultrasound pricing to ensure that we have market right pricing across both equipment and service.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Ultrasound inventory management.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the ultrasound business.

You’re the right fit if:

  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, commercial management, and operations within the medical device or ultrasound industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
