Description:

Overview:
Our team supporting te Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB, NM is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer / Communications Officer. The DMOC mission is to operate a synthetic training environment for interactive simulation across a distributed network.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements simulation solutions for company modeling applications.
  • Analyzes test results to configure model parameters and materials.
  • Identifies development problems and provides technical solutions backed by analysis.
  • Develops product documentation for designs and test procedures.
  • Generates and maintains diagrams for simulation hardware.
  • Develops engineering calculation programs to support simulations.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Leverages familiarity with military communications networks and working knowledge of Cyber Operations.
  • This is an intermediate management position with 4 direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from U.S. accredited institution.
  • Must be familiar with military communications networks and have a working knowledge of Cyber Operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of military communication systems to include DataLinks, multi-spectral communications, Dissimilar Interactive Simulation to voice transmissions, and Operations Order development with emphasis on the communications annex.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI Eligibility.
