Your Team
Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is part of the larger IT services team. We have embarked on a major digital transformation journey which will make ASIC a ‘best in class’ regulator supporting the Australian financial markets. We are undertaking major technology projects thatwill transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as modern digital workplace, mobility & security and cloud, with an increased focus on data sharing, analytics and automation.

The Role

  • Be accountable for planning, building and continuous operations and enhancements of all aspects of our modern workplace services: Devices (laptops, phones and tablets), Azure Virtual Desktops, Windows 10/11, InTune MDM including policy management, autopilot, software deployment, patching, licensing, Office365, MS Teams, Crestron VC platform, Hybrid Exchange and more
  • Develop and lead a high performing team of modern workplace engineers centred around exemplary customer service, measure and report on team’s performance in line with KPIs
  • Contribute to defining a fit for purpose strategy for Modern Workplace Technology, execute the approved strategy
  • Be accountable for team’s resourcing, capacity management, and financial recovery
  • Manage the contracts, operational budget, and finances of the Modern Workplace Technology domain
  • Create a plan and execute to remediate out of appetite risks in the Modern Workplace Services environment

About You

  • Minimum 3-year experience managing a Modern Workplace Technology team in a complex and operationally challenging environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills with demonstratable experience with building and leading a team of high performing team
  • Exceptional customer service and stake holder management skills
  • Expert level skills and experience with products and technologies aligned to your team’s domain – certification desirable.
  • Fair understanding and experience with networking and security products and technologies, AWS and Azure.
  • Be inquisitive, curious and possess the ability to learn quickly and effectively.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
