Classification: Salary
Pay Rate: Starting at $60,000 annually based on education and experience.
Department: Aurora MOHS
Reports to: Practice Manager and Aurora Office Manager

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical setting.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to work with multiple personalities.
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), HIPAA, and medical terminology.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)

Responsibilities:

CLINICAL MANAGER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • This position requires the Aurora and Centennial MOHS Managers to work closely together to accomplish all job duties.
  • Setting up surgery trays.
  • Creating surgery packages per physician requirement.
  • Cleaning and Maintaining instruments.
  • Cutting, processing tissues, and creating slides for the physicians to read.
  • Assisting the physicians with surgeries.
  • Charting patient visit in EMA.
  • Manage medical assistant and Mohs scheduling staff to ensure efficient workflow for the day.
  • Schedule medical assistant staff to support doctors, as well as triage, pathology.
  • Maintain supplies inventory and order supplies for Aurora and Evergreen locations.
  • Maintain MIPS requirements and communicate to staff.
  • Maintain OSHA requirements and communicate to staff.
  • Maintain CLIA requirements and prepare documents for inspection every two years.
  • Review resumes and interview new applicants.
  • Perform orientation of new employees.
  • Perform staff’s review as needed and monitor performance.
  • Assist doctors with administrative tasks when needed.
  • Assist patients with complaints or other requests when needed.
  • Arrange for iPledge activation for new employees and add them to iPledge accordingly.
  • Monitor MA and MOHS scheduling staff hours to ensure compliance with policy.
  • Monitor MA and MOHS scheduling vacation and sick time to ensure compliance with policy.
  • Reconcile outstanding billing issues with Quest or LabCorp by providing missing information required.
  • Assist Practice Manager and Aurora Office Manager with tasks as needed.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.
  • Provide additional support to the Castle Rock, Evergreen, and Frisco locations.
  • Provide EMA orientation to new doctors joining our practice.
  • Label and store slides.
  • Complete and maintain all logs as required for the department.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements/Skills:

  • Compliant with HIPAA and OSHA.
