Responsibilities:
- Proficient in using various computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Experience with assembly-based software is preferred such as NX, Catia, etc.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications
- Troubleshoot part data for moldability
- Determine and develop required mechanisms
- Initialize and develop concept design and block out steel
- Design all types of tools from easiest to very complex including fascias
- Follow customer mold standards and simulate all mechanisms to ensure functionality
- Populate BOM for purchasing
- Compile concession documents for customers
- Provide design directions to intermediate and junior designers
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
- Other duties as assigne
