QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Surveillance of Telemetry Maintains surveillance of telemetry unit and alarm documentation. Provides telemetry strips to ensure accurate monitoring of patient condition. Interprets and documents cardiac rhythms and notifies appropriate personnel of information and emergencies.
  • Troubleshoots Troubleshoots problems with equipment and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient monitoring of patients.
  • ECG Daily Reports Prepares daily and cumulative ECG reports and documents patient care information to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient records in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Levels As required by unit, verifies inventory levels; orders, receives, and stores supplies and equipment; and maintains inventory and equipment logs.
  • Telephone Management Answers multi-line telephones answering the caller’s questions or directing the caller to the appropriate party. utilizes proper telephone etiquette and responds within the defined service standards.
