Euronext Technologies recently started some major programs to: redesign Trading Platforms used to run Euronext Markets, industrialize its IT and implement Agile methodologies. Good tools strongly integrated and automation over Continuous Integration / Delivery and Testing are key features.
We are seeking a hands-on Monitoring Engineer who will lead the way for our environment. The ideal engineer will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive Monitoring Services initiatives. To be successful, one must effectively communicate with our development and operations team to orchestrate the creation of solutions that can scale. The responsibilities include building a process for automation as well as contributing to the development of internal tools to achieve operational efficiency.
This team will be accountable to create, remove and maintain monitoring alerts and events for Databases, Network & Security, Cloud, System, Application and for Monitoring tools itself.

Key Accountabilities

• Learn to build and deploy automation, monitoring and analysis solutions
• Assist in managing our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
• Help implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Develop and maintain solutions for monitoring system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
• Continuously conflate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
• Design and implement secure automation solutions for all environments

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Degree in IT-related-fields - IEFP Level VI
• Basic understanding of/affinity with system administration in Linux environments
• Awareness of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript would be good.
