THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a Monitoring Surveyor to join our Monitoring Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience using Monitoring equipment looking to work on a variety of high-profile projects within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Department and will be based out of our Dublin office.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Leading and successfully delivering survey works on small to medium-sized or moderately complex projects.
  • Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised and exciting equipment and technology such as total stations, GNSS and data collectors.
  • Supporting Principal and Senior Surveyors in larger or more complex projects.
  • Recording surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
  • Processing data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD
  • Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Ensuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
  • Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years survey experience using topographic instruments.
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Possess an understanding of surveying and/or monitoring or sensor communication.
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish construction industry (ideally in surveying and monitoring).
  • Experience of working to high safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of role related post-processing software.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Valid Ireland/EU manual drivers’ licence
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
