Description:

Job description
When our customers are considering key life events such as buying a first home or investing in home improvements, they want the best professional advice to ensure they have the right services and products to meet their needs. This is where you come in as one of our trusted Mortgage Advisers.
Working out of our Oxford branch - where you’ll collaborate with colleagues and customers in a friendly and welcoming environment - you will establish and grow our mortgage and protection business through providing professional advice to both new and existing customers. You’ll know how to deliver a high-quality, customer-driven service by identifying customer’s needs for mortgage and mortgage-related protection products and advice that best meet their needs.
You’ll be part of our Wealth and Personal Banking business that supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance, and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

You will:

  • Provide an agile and flexible service to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice.
  • Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, helping them to achieve a mortgage package that is fully tailored to their individual requirements.
  • Recognise the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and make referrals to other areas of the bank, where their wider needs can be met.
  • Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships and, in doing so, responsibly generate new business.
  • Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly to everything you do.
  • Develop and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • You must hold RO1 / CF1 and CF6 (or CeMAP or equivalent)
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers.
  • Be able to seek out and build on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area.
  • Deliver satisfactory compliance and quality measures.
  • Have experience of personally complying with business processes, rules, and regulations
  • Have a track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment.
  • Flexible working with a working pattern to support operating hours of 9-5 Monday to Saturday.
