Description:
Vault is a non-bank private mortgage lending company. We have a progressive, friendly work environment and a culture of growth. We are looking for a hard-working Mortgage Fulfillment Officer to join our dynamic team.
The Mortgage Fulfillment Officer is responsible for maintaining and updating mortgage files from the commitment signed stage to the time the loan is funded. You will work closely with the Mortgage Underwriters and Business Development to review mortgage applications, verify that file data is complete, conditions are fulfilled, and meet targets while adhering to service standards and providing outstanding personalized service. You will be working in a fun, fast-paced professional environment where being detail-oriented with solid time management skills is critical.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure mortgage files are complete and organized
- Verifying/validating all required mortgage/client information for accuracy
- Review documentation for compliance with file-specific conditions and company policies and following up with mortgage brokers for outstanding conditions.
- Applying outstanding pipeline management skills to assigned applications by conducting regular follow-ups with mortgage brokers and partners to collect outstanding documentation as outlined in the mortgage commitment
- Instruct lawyers and review legal documentation to ensure loan documentation is in accordance with Vault’s credit and underwriting regulation.
- Follow up with Vault Lawyer to obtain confirmation closing conditions met and mortgage closed
- Identify escalation items and work in conjunction with the Underwriter or Manager to resolve them.
- A commitment to providing outstanding personalized service.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Mortgage Underwriters, Business Development and Lawyers to ensure smooth and efficient closing of your files.
