–SUMMARY–

The Manager, Mortgage Lending Manager oversees the daily operations of a mortgage brokerage firm. This role involves managing the mortgage process from application to closing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading a team of mortgage professionals. The Operations Manager plays a critical role in maintaining high service standards, improving operational efficiency, and achieving business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending in Florida, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements.
Valid Mortgage Broker license
In good standing with NMLS
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely processing of mortgage applications, underwriting, and closings.
Stay updated with federal, state, and local regulations governing mortgage lending.
Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance standards.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, realtors, and other industry professionals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement changes to achieve operational goals.
Hire, supervise, train, and mentor a team of loan officers, processors, and administrative staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
We are seeking a Mortgage Lending MANAGER to join our team and continue to build it out in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will be primarily tasked with processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilize systems such as Abila MIP, Automated Underwriting System, Calyx, Calyx Point, and Computer Programs for various tasks
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and reliable
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing clear and concise information
  • Monitor customer accounts regularly, identifying any issues and resolving them effectively
  • Implement Appraisals and Closing Processes in line with company standards
  • Engage in Commercial Lending activities, adhering to industry regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Assess customer credit situations, making informed decisions based on their credit history and financial circumstances.
