Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motel. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the motel, including guest satisfaction, staff management, and financial performance.
Motel Description: 4 Star Motel in Central Queenstown
As the Motel Manager, you will not only oversee daily operations but also have the chance to shape the guest experience, build a talented team, and drive financial success. Your dedication and commitment will be key to this role.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in motel or hotel management is required
- Tertiary level qualification in Businesss or Management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns and complaints
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in computer systems and hotel management software
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- A high level of integrity and professionalism
- Wiling to live on site - Manager Accommodation will be provided

Responsibilities:
- Administering and coordinating front-office duties, room service and
housekeeping duties
Assigning duties to motel personnel, evaluating staff performance and
ensuring making sure that they adhere to company rules and regulations
Managing motel facilities and enforcing strict compliance with health and
safety standards
Overseeing security arrangements and maintenance of the motel facilities
Conferring and cooperating with motel personnel for the Lodge’s optimum
efficiency, responding to queries regarding motel services and policies
Planning and collaborating with suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference
planners and other relevant external parties
Managing budget and financial activities
Promoting and marketing the business
Providing tourist information and facilitating booking tours if required
Evaluating customer feedback, complaints and needs
Interviewing, hiring and training motel staff
Any other duties as may be reasonable required
