Motion Graphic Designer /Editor

JOB BRIEF

We are currently hiring a Motion Graphics Designer/ Video Editor who will work closely with the graphics team, video producers and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and create high-quality video content.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• You have a degree/diploma in Design, Film, or a related field
• You have prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer and/ or Video editing as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects.
• You have a passion for social media video trends.
• You possess strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools. Competency in Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus.
• You are skilled at templating, editing and illustration.
• You have a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• You are organised and can prioritise effectively under pressure
• You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas
• You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating and/or editing visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms to tell compelling video stories
• Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content.
• Editing, adapting and optimizing motion graphics and videos for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices.
• Demonstrating a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
• Responsible for the day-to day look and consistency of motion graphic and/or video storytelling, communicate the vision set out by the Creative Director to the broader set of editorial partners within the organization
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time
• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision
• Collaborating with the creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and content creators, to conceptualize and storyboard of video and/ or motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, and exploring new techniques to push the boundaries of motion graphics design and editing
• Organising and being attentive in the editing and storage of assets and/or footage for various content
