CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Santam’s Motor Claims (North Region: Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal) has a position available for a Motor Tow Claims Service Consultant, that will be based in Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this position is to process all the allocated Motor Claims and make them ready for an assessor to be appointed. The CSC will be responsible for all queries on the claim. This will include communication with the client, Intermediary and or Service Provider.

QUAILIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)
  • 2 - 4 years’ claims experience
  • Any previous claims handling, pre-support and or post support experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Abuntex, BPM, Claims Center and Codeplex will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workload and instructions from system through any communication and or documents.
  • Work closely with your team
  • Mostly work with claims requiring upliftment (tow) from one place to another
  • Required to check completeness and correctness of documents.
  • Responsible for all actions to get claim assessment ready and the appointment of the assessor.
  • Contact client or intermediary telephonically for any identified outstanding information and keep them informed.
  • Required to follow up on claims to receive digital images and or any documentation necessary for Assessment.
  • Handle complaints, queries, all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, Underwriters & non-contracted tow operators, either by telephone or by email
  • Create services on Claims Center system for towing and rental
  • Responsible for arranging, manage rental requests, extensions & terminations
  • Attend to your Review and daily activities on the Claims Center system
