Motor Underwriting Analyst
Salary National £50,000-£65,000 London £55,000-£75,000
Aviva is seeking a dynamic and experienced Motor Underwriting Analyst to join our Motor Underwriting team. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to make a significant impact on the market-leading Motor Pricing and Underwriting.
It’s an exciting time to join Aviva’s personal lines business. After a period of profitable growth, we’re moving to expand some of our key teams in data, analytics, pricing, underwriting, and trading.
A bit about the job:
- Evaluate data and identify opportunities to support ambitious Growth Plans for Personal Lines Van and Telematic/Connect Car Accounts
- Collaborate across our end-to-end motor teams to create a pipeline of continuous improvements that support our profitable growth ambitions
- Be a key contributor to the development of our people and technical capabilities
- Ensure fair treatment of customers and effective risk management
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in Motor Underwriting Experience, preference specialist in Van and Telematics
- Ability to analyse and deliver insights from a broad range of data sets
- Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking, strong financial and statistical knowledge with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good Knowledge on Regulatory and Compliance requirements
- Desirable to have relevant industry qualification (i.e. CII DIPCII, ACII) and / or data analytical experience

- Starting salary between £50,000 and £75,000(depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
