Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING | MŌ TE TŪRANGA

As the Motoring Advisor, you will be providing both technical advice and motoring advice, information, and assistance on all motoring related matters over the phone, online or face to face to our large network. This includes AA Members, motor industry and consumer bodies, affiliated businesses, and the general public.
In addition to this, you will also develop information databases, assist in reviewing motor industry trends and statistics, and demonstrate good writing skills in order to contribute to new and used car reviews, research and write rich and engaging content for our AA owned channels and much more!
As well as living and breathing cars, combine this with your strong relationship communication skills and this could be your next job!

To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A great working knowledge of vehicles, preferable an automotive qualification (Trade Certificate or equivalent)
  • A proven work history in the motor industry (retail and/or wholesale)
  • Experience in improving processes and systems
  • Logical diagnosis skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Word
  • Good writing skills
  • Communication skills
  • Team playe
