Salary:
$20/per hour

Position Summary:

  • Under the director of the immediate supervisor, the Program Assistants, will organize all aspects of the Micro-Mentoring Programs including workshops and events.
  • Conceive of a career/mentoring/professional development series theme for the year based on the current cohort needs; draft and circulate concept notes.
  • Collaborate on program communications, publicity to students and alumni, update web content, and resources for each semester, compile program material for myCourses.
  • Coordinate panelists, moderators, and event social media reporters with the communications team.
  • Collaborate with Career Services Manager on all program and event logistics and handling event-day organization and logistics; arranging AV needs.
  • Oversee the matching progress and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize information and tailor the message to each audience.
  • Strong organizational and event management skills.
  • Good with Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines. Able to work autonomously.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn an asset.
