WE ARE NOW SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED MRI RADIOGRAPHER TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN NAAS

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Manage MRI schedules, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment.
  • Ethics and Learning: Maintain high medical ethics and stay updated with technical and clinical knowledge.
  • Clinical Duties: Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic MRI exams.
  • Radiographic Skills: Identify and adapt procedures based on diagnostic information.
  • Judgment: Differentiate between normal and pathological findings.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort, and obtain informed consent.
  • Coordination: Work with Clinical Lead and RSM for workload coverage.
  • System Maintenance: Update Radiology Information Systems and oversee equipment maintenance.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow radiation safety rules and use protective devices.
  • Policy Adherence: Comply with departmental policies, especially regarding radiological exams for women of reproductive capacity.
  • Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients and assist in their safe transfer.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • 5+ years Post graduation consecutive experience in MRI OR 3 years post-graduation
  • Valid CORU Registration
