Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking for a MRI Supervisor to join our team in Warrnambool, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and assisting in the management of the MRI department.
You will oversee a diverse team of technical and support staff, ensuring the highest standards of MRI diagnostic imaging. You will also provide training, technical consultation, and support for advanced procedures including Prostate Cardiac, Advanced Neuro, Functional, Breast and guided biopsies, Advanced Abdominal, MSK, and Ferriscan Imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MRI Operations:

o Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality imaging and compliance with protocols and safety standards.

o Provide management feedback and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • MRI Equipment:

o Ensure proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MRI equipment.

o Perform quality assurance and develop operational policies.

  • Learning and Development:

o Support professional development and training for staff and students.

o Stay updated on MRI advancements and address team skill gaps.

  • Communication:

o Liaise professionally with patients and staff.

o Ensure compassionate and accurate service delivery.

  • Compliance:

o Adhere to federal and state regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards.

Key Relationships:

  • Internal: Technical, clerical, and nursing staff; site supervisors; radiologists.
  • External: Referring doctors; hospital supervisors and management; relevant professional bodies.
