Job Summary: Under the direction of the Radiology Director, an MRI technologist is responsible for

  • Performing high quality MRI images,
  • Delivering age-appropriate patient care-contributing to the efficient operation of the MRI division of the radiology department.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participates in CQI activities.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:

  • One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
  • Prefer specific experience and training in MRI.
  • Registered or Registry eligible with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
  • Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Proficiency with most major MRI equipment manufacturer’s hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Picker).
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
    Salary: $34.63+
