As part of our five-point plan to fight COVID-19, Pfizer is attempting to develop both preventive measures (vaccines) and therapeutics (antivirals). We expect both vaccination as well as antiviral treatment to be critical for preventing society from COVID-19 alongside other interventions, and we are leveraging our remarkable reach, scale, and scientific expertise to help attempt to end this pandemic.
Together with the mRNA/AV Franchise Team, the role of the mRNA/AV Commercial Manager takes full ownership over our mRNA/AV Franchise Brands. As Commercial Manager you support the implementation of our brand strategies, brand plannings as well as the tracking of the brand tactics in Switzerland (in close collaboration and alignment with the full local X-FCT Team). It is your responsibility to ensure we meet our strategic goal to bring Pfizer’s mRNA/AV franchise to people in Switzerland to support our collective battle against COVID-19 pandemic. This requires experience in launching products, project management as well as coordination and tracking of plan.

Your key responsibilities

  • Implement locally adapted strategic launch plans for Switzerland incl. tactics and activities that will ensure brand success in close alignment with x-functional team
  • Ensure timely approval and delivery of communication materials and campaigns
  • Develop knowledge of market dynamics, environmental changes, competitor activities, needs and opportunities for the portfolio and for the customers.
  • Lead competitive Intelligence coordination and ensure Pfizer is acting on insights
  • Drive education of involved CFC to ensure and enhance implementation and accuracy of materials, programs and services
  • Independently lead significantly impactful customer/omni-channel activities

The mRNA/AV Commercial Manager will report to the Primary Care Lead.

You offer:

  • University degree in science, economics or equivalent level
  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Launch Experience, ideally in specialty business
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Swiss rx pharma-marketing, healthcare and pharmaceutical environment
  • Proven ability to interact with high level KOLs as well as other relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, responsibility and agility
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a x-functional matrix organization
  • Good project management skills
  • Good Financial/Business/Forecasting analysis skills
  • Flexibility, teamwork and a collaborative mindset
  • Self-motivated, high level of independent and service oriented working attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Agility and passion
  • Fluency in both written and verbal in German and English; French is a Plus.
