MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing with MRO – Maintenance Parts Management
- Proficient knowledge working with SAP PM module and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong mathematical, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Practical problem-solving abilities
- General understanding of pharmaceutical equipment, GMP and GDP, and metrology, facilities, & process maintenance
- Physical ability to walk; work with hands; reach above shoulder height; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree
- Experience supervising a small team in inventory management

Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains a strong, transparent, and effective working relationship between maintenance & facilities, metrology, manufacturing, R&D, finance, internal support, and regulatory groups.
- Takes part in, or leads, continuous improvement initiatives to maximize parts inventory program efficiency.
- Works with Purchasing to qualify new vendors and materials, by gathering and evaluating specification information.
- Procures MRO supplies and spare parts based on re-order report and/or material reservations in SAP.
- Helps identify parts required for repairs; and performs necessary research such as vendor, price, and lead time.
- Create and maintain MRO processes within and across departments to provide a reliable storeroom of critical spare parts.
- Advise responsible personnel of any problems, delays, etc., that could affect plant operations or delivery of product to customers.
- Performs cycle counting, and year-end inventory audits.
- Coordinate stocking, labeling, and kitting of spare parts in parts room.
- Oversee the issue and return of parts and materials.
- Set up and organize parts storeroom for most efficient storage and distribution.
- Responsible for tracking and assisting in the development of the inventory budget.
- Perform housekeeping as needed to ensure parts room is well-maintained.
- Comply with all safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
