Insitu has an immediate contract need for an MRO Technician to work onsite in Bingen, WA and The Dalles, OR. Role will be responsible for:

  • Performing all modular assembly, repair and troubleshooting tasks.
  • May develop prototype modules or equipment.
  • Plans, assigns and validates work of others.
  • Perform pilot build of new products and documents procedural and texturing requirements for manufacturing application.
  • Analyze and diagnose faults in the operational configurations of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Interprets circuit wiring, logic cable diagrams, drawings, specifications and schematics of complete systems and equipment and performs troubleshooting.
  • Tests and evaluates aircraft systems, and secondary test and support equipment.
  • Assists in defining test parameter and analyzing test results.
  • Coordinates the availability of equipment and facilities to support test projects.
  • Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Reviews and completes business and required documentation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or comparable and 6 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities and data needed for defining delivery configurations.
  • Ability to differentiate production processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).
  • Ability to working 100% onsite in Bingen, WA and/or The Dalles, OR.
