Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a MS Power Platform Team consultant for our Federal Government client.
Objective:
- Multi-lingual case management solutions for staff to manage and advance supervisory
cases, using the Power Platform and MS Dynamics 365 (including the Customer Service and Sales
modules),
- Multi-lingual client relationship management and portal solutions for REs to electronically interact
with client in the context of various supervisory activities, using Power Pages,
- Identity and access management solutions to verify identities and manage system access, leveraging
MS B2C module, and
- Data integrations between MS Dataverse and other client data stores, including use of custom
APIs.
Working with the client project team, the Power Platform Developer (Level 3) tasks include but are not limited to the
following:
a) Facilitate technical workshops and business requirements gathering sessions to define implementation scope.
b) Author and refine technical backlog(s) in Azure DevOps, driving iterative design, configuration, development,
testing and deployment activities.
c) Design and architect Power Platform solutions in alignment with client and Government of Canada
infrastructure, solution, data and security architecture standards.
d) Design and architect Power Platform solutions in alignment with Government of Canada accessibility
standard (EN 301 549 (2021)).
e) Prioritize and estimate Azure DevOps backlog items, facilitating iterative release planning in consideration of
project timelines and resource allocation.
f) Working closely with the product team, implement (through configuration, and customizations as required)
Power Platform components to meet business and technical requirements, in alignment with approved
designs.
g) Develop custom connectors and/or APIs for external data sources.
h) Implement security guardrails and provide support to the technical security teams through Security
Assessment & Accreditation (SA&A) processes.
i) Develop test automation plans and cases in Azure DevOps.
j) Conduct comprehensive unit testing.
k) Support formal quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities.
l) Establish DevOps best practices that will manage the application lifecycle effectively, streamlining processes
for efficiency and consistency.
m) Coordinate the deployment of solutions across various environments, managing risks and ensuring minimal
disruption to ongoing operations.
n) Coordinate release cycles, providing clear communication and direction to technical team members
throughout the development stages.
o) Monitor system performance, usage metrics and system health.
p) Serve as a key point of contact for technical support and for resolving complex issues.
q) Lead and mentor more junior client developers and team members.
r) Lead the documentation efforts for all aspects of the solutions, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness for
maintenance and future upgrades.
s) Plan and deliver technical training and knowledge transfer sessions to client and Supervision staff, as
well as system administrators, so client is equipped to support and enhance solutions.
t) Prepare and present detailed reports and updates to client senior management on strategic and
operational aspects of the MS Power Platform technology suite.
The individual Task Authorization (TA) will define the specialties required for the specific project. Specialties include
