JOB DESCRIPTION

• The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, administration, monitoring and decommissioning of Microsoft SQL Server database systems
• Maintain highly available SQL servers in Production and Non-Production environments, including;
  Ø SQL cluster management;
  Ø System patching;
  Ø Performance tuning;
  Ø Performance monitoring;
  Ø Capacity planning

Ø Experience with SQL Server Patch implementation;

• Able to participate in quarterly server maintenance weekends, and recovery exercises
• SQL Server administrator who has work experience with Teamcenter PLM is preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator;
• Strong experience with SQL 2012-2022 Architecture
• Install, configure and maintain MS SQL Server clustered environment including AlwaysOn Availability Groups for High availability and DR;
• Ability to work individually with minimal supervision;
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
• Autonomous DBA with “Can-do” attitude, pro-active, takes the initiative as well as ownership of problem/project;
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of High Availability implementations - Availability Groups, Log Shipping, Clustering;
• Experience with SQL server performance tuning;
• Strong communication, team and interpersonal skills;
• Strong Transact-SQL knowledge;
• Awareness of database design patterns and working experience of object-relational mapping;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks to best meet overall goals;
• Experience with Data recovery methods;
• Knowledge of SSIS packages and SSRS reports;
• Experience in writing stored procedures.
