If you are passionate about social justice and harm reduction and seek to improve the lives of marginalised people who inject drugs, come and join the team at Australia’s first supervised injecting facility, the Uniting Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) in Kings Cross, Sydney. • This is a part-time contract for 12 months (40 hours a fortnight, hours/days to be agreed)
• Health Manager Level 2 from $53 to $63 per hour depending on experience
  The Research Project Manager will be working with the MSIC Research Coordinator and external researchers. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Residue and Post Overdose Substance Testing (RePOST) study being conducted at MSIC. Activities will include managing the study implementation (sampling, consent, data collection), timelines, milestones, budget and deliverables.

About You

• Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline, OR relevant equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a close-knit open-plan environment.
• Experience in the set-up, coordination, budget and monitoring, and close-out of research projects.
• Technical proficiency in using various tools, applications, and systems.
• Experience working with marginalised communities and knowledge of harm reduction strategies for people who inject drugs will be of benefit.
