Sitting within the Portsmouth MSK service, this vacancy lies with a team priding itself on developing individuals. Challenges faced with increasing demand and new ways of working allows opportunities for you to grow and develop into leaders of the future.
You will take a major role in the advanced assessment and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal patients, alongside supporting less experienced staff; contributing to the education/training and having the opportunity to lead on service development projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent support networks, led by Pathway Leads and MSK consultants in collaboration with Clinical Specialists.
  • Close links with Persistent Pain, Long Covid and Podiatry services.
  • Varied caseload with primary care and self-referrals will give you a wide exposure to MSK patients.
  • Specialties in Pelvic Health, Hands, Adolescent MSK and Hydrotherapy within our Portsmouth localities: ensuring there are opportunities for you to develop and that the MSK patient is managed optimally within the MSK Service.
  • High standard of teaching, regular training and clinical supervision.
  • Opportunities for active involvement in research, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
