Multi Asset Investment Specialist – HSBC Asset Management

In this role you will:

  • Play a key commercial role supporting our Multi Asset business by ensuring an effective link between Portfolio Management and Sales across the Wholesale channel – mainly the IFA community.
  • Client facing into existing and prospective clients providing overviews of the Multi Asset Investment Process, macroeconomic environment and outlook, portfolio positioning and rationale, and strategy performance profile.
  • Creating engaging and compelling marketing content through various media methods including presentations, written reports, data assessments and wider thought leadership pieces etc
  • Be an active participant in client led engagement action including leading presentations at industry conferences & roadshows and other networking opportunities to improve and grow the franchise and your own credibility.
  • Provide topical market and strategy commentary to HSBC sales teams and deliver client updates on the fund’s performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Gained relevant experience in the Investment / Multi Asset space.
  • Possess strong knowledge on the IFA community, i.e. who they are, what they do and what their drivers and influences are.
  • Excellent content creation skills (presentations, report writing etc) derived from your ability to disseminate complex commercial data.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills across a varied audience – you create ‘trusted advisor’ relationships.
  • Keep track of regulatory changes which impact on investment funds and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for follow up actions

This role is based at HSBC Offices in Canada Square, London - you should be able to work here on a weekly basis. The role will also require regular travel for client meetings and industry Events & Roadshows
