Description:
HOURS – 40 HRS PER WEEK, FULL TIME
Following their recent acquisition, The Harley Medical Group and sk:n clinics are now part of the same Group that owns Optical Express and ACES, two of the leading ophthalmology providers, dedicated to giving both private and NHS patients world class levels of service and clinical care.
We are looking for a Hospital Clinic Manager to join our Manchester site which will include Optical Express, sk:n & The Harley Medical Group. You will be working on a rota that includes weekends. Reporting to the Divisional Support Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring your clinic operates efficiently and achieves financial performance by:
- Leading, motivating and managing a high performing team
- Promoting team work, communication and collaboration between the clinical and retail teams across the brands.
- Delivering industry leading customer service across Ophthalmology, Aesthetic and Cosmetic services and surgeries.
- Ensuring levels of professionalism, customer care, product knowledge and sales skills meet or exceed the company standard.
- Effective team rostering and involvement with recruitment when required, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
- Ensuring audit, policies, procedures and medical governance standards are met at all times.
- Being responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety for the Clinic and the team members, ensuring all guidelines and legal requirements are upheld.
- Lead team to maximise sales and conversion opportunities with all clients/patients across all brands, influencing and advising on the most suitable and appropriate solution for their needs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Ideally you’ll have a minimum of three years Management experience gained within either the Private Health, Aesthetics, Hospitality, Retail or Service sectors.
- Experience of working within a target driven and fast paced environment.
- Proven people management skills, capable of building and leading high performing teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience of P&L Accounts or budgetary management to control costs.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Drive, determination and ability to overcome ambiguity and the daily challenges of ‘management’.
- A good understanding of statutory policies such as HR and Health and Safety. Experience of CQC policies and procedures is a distinct advantage.
- Genuine desire to work in the Aesthetic and Optical Industries.
