Position Purpose: As the Multi-Family Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading our business development initiatives in the Multi-Family Housing market. You will develop and execute strategies to gain profitable market share, build and maintain key relationships, and create long-term account strategies. Your role will involve analyzing product, pricing, and market trends to drive sales and profitability.What You’ll Do:

  • Understand and align with BlueLinx’s vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Research and establish customer and business relationships to enter and expand in the Multi-Family Housing market.
  • Participate in trade associations and conferences to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Acquire and manage large account opportunities with profitable business plans.
  • Plan strategic customer visits to understand needs and present BlueLinx’s value proposition.
  • Analyze competitors and establish BlueLinx’s competitive strengths.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with account buyers and internal teams.
  • Plan and implement strategies for new products and programs to drive sales and profit.
  • Travel as required to represent BlueLinx and build business relationships.
