Responsibilities:

  • Ability to cross sell across multiple hotels.
  • Convert business through proposal, negotiation and contractual agreement to ensure all revenue potential and targets are achieved
  • Liaise closely with clients to establish needs and expectations and maintain records to develop sales opportunities
  • Responds to telephone enquires/electronic requests for allocated business in the defined timeline.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing. Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions). Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
  • Ensure follow up takes place with clients and opportunities are sought for repeat bookings
  • Focus on the customer and find ways to meet and exceed their expectations
