MULTISKILLED ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL BIAS)

London, SW19

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Reporting to the General Manager, to undertake scheduled and reactive maintenance activities within the production, warehouse and offices.
• Provide a full range of maintenance support for PPM and reactive issues including but not limited to - minor building/plumbing repairs, Electrical/Mechanical trouble shooting and repairs & general maintenance.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated.
• Liaise as required with external contractors, overseeing their activities and conform to all H&S regulations and best practices.
• Attend meetings and workshops.
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
• Travel may be required occasionally to support subsidiary sites within the M25.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS:

• Educated to GCSE Level, Grade C or above in English, Maths and Science.
• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience of working in a Warehouse / Food Distribution environment.
• General maintenance and facilities experience.
• Experience of working on HVAC equipment.
• Experience of working in chilled environments and with refrigeration equipment.
• H&S/ COSHH trained.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
