Description:
WHAT ARE THE MISSION-CRITICAL SKILLS?
- Good mechanical and electrical working knowledge and experience
- Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position, with recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
- A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition
- Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Practical hands-on approach
- Have significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plant
- Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
- Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives, Team leaders from both maintenance and production
