As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician at Lir Chocolates, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our machinery, from mixers to packaging equipment. Your expertise will be key in minimising downtime, optimising efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are upheld throughout our production process.

Responsibilities:
- Timely and effective troubleshooting and repair of equipment and electrical systems issues.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control systems.
- Utilise data reports on equipment and systems to generate improvement initiatives.
- Support production at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability and OEE targets.
- Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays.
- Work with other staff in diagnosing causes of system, equipment or material failures.
- Liaise with the Operations team in the planning of maintenance work.
- Maximise equipment and plant availability through the root cause identification and subsequent elimination of problems.
- Operation of Engineering Stores to ensure spares requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are maintaine
