LOCATION: WALTHAMSTOW

Hours: 42 hours per week – 4 on 4 off (alternating days and nights)
Shifts: 1 week of days followed by 1 week of nights
Are you a qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a new role in a fast-paced environment? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and capable engineer to join our team at Allied Bakeries in Walthamstow.
As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, you’ll have an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of our bakery. You’ll be working across shifts (days and nights) to deliver continuous improvement, proactive maintenance, and timely repairs. This is a hands-on role requiring quick problem-solving, initiative, and collaboration with the wider team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
  • Implement our engineering strategy with consistency and efficiency.
  • Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget.
  • Support site performance by focusing on KPIs such as OEE and CCOs.
  • Maintain high standards of safe working practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to operators and other engineers.
  • Undertake additional activities as required, supporting the overall function of the site.
