Multimedia Producer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Multimedia producer, you will be responsible for editing videos and animating explainers, writing scripts, and on occasion filming events or interviews.
You will be responsible for all aspects of production, from planning to the final product, sometimes working alone and sometimes with other producers or journalists.
As part of the Video Team, you will report to Euractiv’s Multimedia Director.
Occasionally, you will work with our events team to assist in virtual conferences and live-streamed events.

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Motion design skills in After Effects and video editing skills in Premier Pro from the Adobe Creative Suite. It is required to edit raw footage into polished videos, enhancing storytelling and viewer engagement with animations, transitions, and effects.
• Engaging script writing and storyboarding skills.
• Present a showreel highlighting relevant work for the position you are applying.

Desired:

• Understanding of a live productions workflow. Experience in TV Broadcasting is a plus.
• Technical expertise in all key aspects of video production (lighting, framing, recording clean audio, and running remote video shoots).
• Good knowledge of filmmaking, camera operation, and techniques for creating a shot (camera position, lighting, composition).
• Passionate about photography.
• Interested in EU policy.
• Additional European languages, especially French or German.
