SUMMARY:

Nisga’a Tek is seeking a Multimedia Programmer III to design, create, manipulate and tailor graphics, images, sound, animation, video and text to create integrated multimedia programs using a combination of design skills and technical knowledge of digital products.
Responsibilities:

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Programming skills and Capabilities:
  • Programming SCORM conformant content packages (3rd and 4th editions)
  • Multimedia/interactive content development
  • Technical maintenance of courseware in accordance with user environment requirements
  • Course programming
  • Interoperability with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as JKO, AtlasPro
  • BlackBoard
  • Experience with Adobe Flash CS6 (ActionScript 3 programming)
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate
  • JavaScript programming including the JQuery Core API
  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML) document and data encoding
  • Representational State Transfer (ReST) protocol
  • Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) information exchange
  • HTML and HTML5 markup languages programming, including CSS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Has over 10 years’ experience and/or a MA/MS degree or certification.
  • Experience working in high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
    The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $110,000 annually.
