POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and creative Multimedia Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a wide range of digital content, including web, software, 3D, and animation projects. This role requires a blend of artistry, creativity, and technical expertise in software programming and scripting languages. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ brand presence across various digital platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in Multimedia Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in multimedia design and development, particularly in web, software, 3D, and animation.
• Proficiency in multimedia software, tools, and utilities, as well as programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web security, hosting environments, and digital content management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects, particularly those related to design, signage, or branding.

• Analyse, design, and develop Internet sites by applying a mixture of artistry and creativity with software programming and scripting languages, ensuring seamless integration with operating environments.
• Design and develop digital animations, imaging, presentations, games, audio and video clips, and Internet applications using multimedia software, tools, utilities, interactive graphics, and programming languages.
• Communicate with network specialists regarding web-related issues, such as security and hosting, to control and enforce web server security, space allocation, user access, business continuity, website backup, and disaster recovery planning.
• Design, develop, and integrate computer code with other specialized inputs, such as image files, audio files, and scripting languages, to produce, maintain, and support websites.
• Assist in analysing, specifying, and developing Internet strategies, web-based methodologies, and development plans to ensure the successful execution of digital projects.
• Create and manipulate computer animations, audio, video, and graphic image files into multimedia programs to produce data and content for a variety of platforms, including CD-ROMs, information kiosks, multimedia presentations, websites, mobile applications, electronic gaming environments, e-commerce, e-security solutions, and entertainment and education products.
• Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual aesthetics across all digital and print platforms.
