OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
The Multimedia Support Specialist is responsible for assessing needs, developing processes and supporting advanced multimedia services for the Fuqua community of faculty, students, staff and guests. The landscape of services and their use is constantly evolving. An important part of the process is to keep up with changes in technology and the uses of technologies that are available to the community. Delivery of this service requires an understanding of the dynamics of the various programs and operations within the Fuqua School of Business and Duke University. A strong foundation of good communication skills including the ability to assist users in a variety of circumstances is a must for success in this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training: 4 year college degree or the equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Generally requires 2 years experience, preferably within an academic environment, or organization working on information technologies in education. Supervisory experience is not required. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required.
