Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Municipal CAD Designer for full-time employment that can be based in our Mississauga office. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented group on a wide variety of different municipal projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Working under the direction of engineers and project managers
• Preparing engineering drawings with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Preparing plan and profile, plant roads, grading and drainage design and plant piping, and other wastewater treatment plant civil structures from conceptual to final design
• Coordinating project drawings with project managers, engineers, and collaborating with other disciplines.
• Ensuring that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner and conform to CAD standards

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• College Diploma in Engineering Technology\Technician

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D
• Drafting Fundamentals & Standards
• Effective Communication Skills

• Working under the direction of engineers and project managers
